Custom Universal Turbine Exhaust Systems Help Quiet Papua New Guinea LNG Facility
Universal Acoustic & Emission Technologies is a supplier to ExxonMobil Corp.’s liquefied natural gas facility in Papua New Guinea, which recently shipped its first LNG cargo from the Papua New Guinea LNG project months ahead of schedule, ExxonMobil announced this week.
UniversalAET supplied the turbine custom exhaust systems for ExxonMobil’s processing facility. We design and manufacture such systems for Oil & Gas and Power Generation facilities around the globe for cleaner, quieter operations.
The PNG LNG project goal is to commercialize Papua New Guinea’s gas resources, exporting the gas as liquefied natural gas (LNG) to customers around the world. The project will produce 9 trillion cubic feet of LNG and 200 million barrels of associated liquids over its 30-year lifespan.
